Hull & Leeds Northern Events

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to the soul scene and just wondered what are the best Northern nights to go to in Hull or Leeds?

Would prefer if they did'nt play much "modern" stuff.

Used to go to Soulsville in Leeds, but it's not on anymore.

Are you living in Leeds & if so whereabouts? I used to go to Soulsville as well, the soulsville guys are on here, along with a few other Leeds people. There's been 2 do's in Rothwell, Leeds which are run by Markmtfc & LagerLout. Not sure if there are going to be anymore, possibly.

I would suggest The Wilton which is in Normanton, but it was on Friday so you've just missed it. The next one is beginning of May.

Dont know if I've been any help. I tend to travel as there isnt anything happening here.

Rich & I had a chat about Soulsville making a re-appearance a few weeks ago. All just wistful chat at the moment.
