Glyn Williams Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 lol, i'll tell chilly about that, he will be happy - he's feeling a bit vulnerable at the mo cos of the takeover
Makemvinyl Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 already emailed hope he passed it on what happened KR and co
Glyn Williams Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 dont be silly, KR and co would love to be that big:) Saga had a management buy out and then promptly sold off the station licences it held to Guardian Media Group - same people that own the newspaper and many other stations. Chilly used to work for me at Valley Radio 11 years ago - I gave him his first break into radio from a demo tape
Makemvinyl Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 So whose decision was it to tell Kev Roberts he was back on The Radio when his own station failed miserably and the Ian Chilvers a good presenter was more than able to carry on.

Thanks for that information - I've got a DAB radio so it will make a change from the hiss and crackle of the radio Mansfield FM transmisson that I try and listen on.
