Hi folks.

Can anyone let me know if there's a difference in sound quality between a 67. and a 74. release? I believe they are both styrene (?)

Thanks in front!

Not that I could ever tell, had both but at different times, so not played them back to back.

I only have 74. and it sounds really nice. Potential buyer is just asking if there's a difference between the first press, which i doubt there is

That was my guess. Thanks

Kept the 'original' pressing that looked but also sounded better (louder mastering for a punchier and clearer playback) on my so-so phono set-up sometime 20 yeas ago. Now I know that many don't hear such playback differences on many records but I do 🙂

Is there a list of what was reissued....Im sure i used to have the Festivals Makings Of A Lover with the same typeface

I think not. But from the record's company group there's a few on Mercury and Philips too...

I remember having Ronnie Walkers  You're The one on a dark blue Philips which was a reissue...I wonder what demand was driving these.

Maybe because The Ambers was a very popular sound at Wigan Casino at that time.

Ronnie Walker was a popular play at Wigan as well, I think for the great DJ Mr Dave Evison.
