Just the one highly regarded disc for now.

PM for any additional images, sound file or to reserve.

William Cummings - Make my love a hurting thing - Bang Bang 348 Ex+ £2500

If this went on forever, I wouldn’t mind one little bit, so forgive me when I say as brilliant as it is it leaves me wanting more at 2:12 minutes long. Recorded at Rodel Studio, this short lived Washington DC label has links to the Richmond, Virginia soul set. Cummings himself was a trombonist in Zeke and the Soul Setters band, but clearly had enough about him to propel the strong vocals needed into battle with the bursting horn fanfares that coarse through this monumental Northern dancer. The question is of course, did he skip between the role of lead and blowing brass for all he was worth!

Doesn’t come to market often, and in fact my 2nd copy, replacing the first having suffered the usual years of regret. A tough decision to let this one go, BUT as the story goes for many, I need another 45 more! Vinyl original of course, one small light mark, which a previous owner appears to have used biro to cover up, and a very feint edge wave, neither of which affect play in any way at all. Call me a spotter but the appeal is added to by clean rich plum label with intricate silver print layout. Looks great and plays beautifully.

Fully insured postage will be included.

PayPal by friends please, or add 4%, alternatively I can send bank details.

Cheers, Lee
