Stunning and virtually unknown northern girl group stormer. Only rarity and obscurity can have held this one back! Just the one, barely viewed YouTube entry from around two years ago and but a handful of copies through eBay and Discogs. Big, big future for this one once one of the bigger name DJs gets a hold of a copy.

Les Elegante’s - I’ve Been Lonely (Afro-K) Vg+ £100

Semi-known girl group banger that has somehow escaped the attention of DJs (You Tubers). This really is girl group northern to a tee and for me is up there with many of the classics. Tough 45 on a label that appears not to have any other releases. Garage connection as the flip is by a group called The Other Kind who are also credited with the backing on this side. Clip below from actual 45 and will be removed from YT once sold. Bargain, should be twice the price!

Skeets Williams and The Merger – I Don’t Care (Commonwealth) Mint- £60

Had plays in Europe thanks to forward thinking DJs like Henning Borm. Funk edged northern at its very best!
