Greedy Mick Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 (edited) The b side to the Boss four walking by is by the earthmen and it's really physcadelic and weird. Mick Edited September 15, 2024 by Greedy 1

Keamus Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 This one has always grated. Worthy message I know, but just a MOR stinker. 1
Soulstu Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Wild Times. The flip to Rita & the Tiaras. Ridiculous! 1
Simon T Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 (edited) I'm not sure if 'Hurting' is such a great side but the other side is truly bad. No wonder it's rare, probably sold 3 copies, 2 of which were returned for a refund! Edited September 15, 2024 by Simon T grammar 2
Woodbutcher Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 I'm going to say Del-larks ... but I really can't decide which side I hate more ... 1
Keamus Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Interesting b side on George Pepp’s sublime The Feeling is Real
The Yank Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 The flip side to "Unsatisfied" is a dismal little tune. Making it worse is the fact this was the intended A side-
Bo Diddley Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 I do like the French Fries - Danse A La Musique" but understand lot's of folks don't! However, the B side must take some beating in this category. Have a listen. It's BAD. 1
Nickinstoke Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Rose Brooks “l’m moanin’” has a version of “They’re coming to take me away” on its A side
Ian Parker Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 John E Paul : flip it, for aural delight. 1

Geeselad Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Hilarious imho, flip to true lovers complete with mockney accents. 1
Roburt Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Many of the B sides to 45's made by US pop singers are what you'd expect; pop pap. But then, they were only cutting soul flavoured A side tracks coz that genre was 'flavour of the month' through much of the mid to late 60's. So they weren't really soul acts, just opportunists jumping on the bandwagon.

Mgm 1251 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 (edited) Yes...as you and Geeselad say,it certainly has a weird/psyche vibe about it.... Edited September 25, 2024 by Mgm 1251 .
Mgm 1251 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 same as this one, it's the flip side, and inst to... (you gotta do)What You Gotta Do by The Contenders...this inst has also been 'psyched up' I believe The Boss Four and The Contenders are one...?
