Pete S Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 NON STOP OLDIES SESSION No surprises here so label spotters and chin strokers may wish to look elsewhere for their musical kicks...put simply, these are part of my collection of all time favourite oldies which I spin from time to time to cheer myself up, mainly sounds which were big from around 1972 to 1978 but with a fair few from after that. Have a listen anyway, these will get your feet tapping if nothing else. 100% Northern Soul oldies. REGGAE & ROCKSTEADY PARTY Some great 'old school' reggae and rocksteady from the mid 60's to very early 70's - classics from Trojan, Treasure Isle, Amalgamated, Pama, Island and all those other legendary labels. Find them both at https://raresoul.mypodcast.com/index.html just click the triangular play button next to the speaker icon

Will listen to the rest of the mix tonight , Cheers ,Eddie Yeah it is Eddie, around that time 67-68 he cut some stunning tracks like The Loser, Solomon, Walk The Streets, Do I Worry - all are brilliant and in a similar style. He also produced things like Stop That Train and Tonight for Keith & tex, very similar. If I get a minute I'll round them all up on a cd for you.
