Gotsoul
Some seem to forget about the great voice of Paul Williams of the Temps, we mostly talk about- David, Eddie, but Paul lead most of the early tracks...which brings me to my fav from him- Slow Down Heart[1963] anyone else remember this great singer? 1 1 Link to comment Social source share
David Meikle
He was a great singer. Sadly he killed himself close to the Motown studio at West Grand Blvd and 14th street. He was only 34 years of age. 1 Link to comment Social source share
The Yank
I would pick "I Want A Love I Can See" or "Forever in My Heart". 1 Link to comment Social source share
Rick Cooper
Hard to pick one track as a favourite as all his lead vocal tracks are superb. As a showcase for Paul's talent I'd go for Last One Out Is Brokenhearted issued on the Lost and Found CD of unissued recordings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhe2j8e8lLM The YT video gives some info on the track. Also worth a listen is the extended version someone has made. For more of Paul watch the live video of For Once In My Life from T.C.B TV special on YT. 1 Link to comment Social source share

Jim Elliott
"Once you had a heart". An unreleased track he recorded for Motown, years later released on cd. Incredibly talented guy who never fulfilled his full potential. 2 1 Link to comment Social source share

This is the one Jim, all contributions to this thread are obviously brilliant, due to the brilliance of Paul as a vocalist, but "Once you had a heart" totally blows me away, every time I hear it Kev 1 1 Link to comment Social source share
Simsy
My favourite group and my favourite track, lead by Paul Williams. Never been 100% that he killed himself. Talk of foul play. Sad loss of a tortured soul. 1 Link to comment Social source share
