Tony Turner Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I had a tape of Rod Dearlove's set at an early 90s Soul Essence. I no longer have it but am trying to identify a track he played that I think was called 'Goody'. Can anybody identify it from my poor description please? I would have dated it as an 80s track.
Tony Turner Posted June 19 Author Posted June 19 Scratch that folks, I've remembered it! Labronzo McDonald.
Jamesh Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Don't think I've heard it played out since. Picked it up from his front page list

Wilxy Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Total respect for Rod Dearlove, whom again I haven't heard about for a number of years, and must add that his knowlege and insight with regard the "upfront" music at the time was second to none IMHO, the magazine Voices from the shadows was also a superb example of up to the minute Soulful Journalism, and when he ran the Canal Tavern in Thorne, I was lucky enough to have been in attendance.....Great Times..... 1
