Not wishing to sound too pedantic, but i think you will find the line in the song is "our hopes and dreams will come true " not "i hope these dreams will come true ", this woman wasnt merely hoping her dreams would come true, she had already decided they were going to. masterpiece.

From the fantastic live performance at Nantwich a few years ago ,Eula put in a memorable performance,a thrill to catch her live ….

Does any body know who played the bass on Eulas masterpiece i read up on Mucle Shoals in house band and cant seem to find it ?

It was recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio but I don't know who was on bass for the session. Quickly scanning the (Numero) Eccentric Soul CD for Tragar there is no mention of the players on the session.

Do you think it was The Swampers, as it sounds like David Hood on bass to my ears

Given he was one of the four owners and one of the key session musicians for the studio it is likely it was him on bass.
