Mal C Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Really Great 45, I remember this track was always on the scan sheet for Rob Pheasant's sales list, dont know if he actually had it for sale, but I clocked it quickly but could never find a copy... I'm guessing a Stafford spin? given the kind of track it is... 1
Soulfulhound Posted May 30 Posted May 30 (edited) "I want to tell you" was a Wigan spin for a few weeks in late 1973..... Edited May 30 by Soulfulhound 1 1
Andy Rix Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I'm sure this got a legal reissue .. or later press.. on Epic in the mid 70s Sure I have a copy but I think it must be 30 years since I last listened to it A 1

45cellar Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I have the White DEMO, Yellow Stock Copy and the Official Re-issue. The White DEMO and Yellow Stock Copy were from Soul Bowl. Most records that I bought were in Excellent to Mint condition but the Yellow Stock Copy although it plays OK is of a lesser grade. It looks to have been well played and not from a Warehouse find or Radio Station source. (The name of the previous owner written on the label) I suspect that it may well have been more difficult to find the Yellow Stock Copy in any quantity and in pristine condition. It made me think that the Yellow Stock Copy was perhaps the rare one. Now we have the internet, that position may have changed from copies now available and purchased at the time it was released. 2 1
