Angus Westfields Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Flodavieur original please. Anyone with a 'spare' () copy for sale please? No seriously, I am in the market for a nice copy. Thanks. Angus
Stanley Posted May 30 Posted May 30 a copy changed hands recently for 15k...i assume you have deep pockets
Angus Westfields Posted May 30 Author Posted May 30 Hi Stanley. Yep, I am aware of the current 'going price'. Obviously it's more than I would wish to pay, but I will happily discuss with any serious sellers. My impersonation of an African elephant without its trunk is legendary!

Angus Westfields Posted May 30 Author Posted May 30 I’ve just finished building my Time Machine. I have 2 seats available! Any takers?

Stanley Posted May 30 Posted May 30 they were the 2 copies i left over there that he took as him .it was in the 90,s .i could have kicked myself for not taking them .nobody knew the tune .i called back to the uk before flying home and asked reputable people who can vouch also . thank you G
Woodbutcher Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I heard you the first time , but it was not the 'late' 90s as I and many others were wearing out shoe leather to it down the 100 Club and elsewhere in the mid 90s ...
Stanley Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I,D have to look back to check as i know that trip we took in a lot of visits covered a lot of miles and also came back with the dennis edwards cream issue amongst loads more on that trip.,,but this is the sort of antagonistic conversation that pisses me off of the present scene, im a lot older than you and don,t really need to rubber stamp what happened or even divulge the source where they were....have a nice day.g

No seriously, I am in the market for a nice copy. Thanks. Angus I remember Alan first getting those two copies. When he sold up, I’m think his went to John ‘Ginger’ Taylor as I seem to remember him playing at Kettering (soul nights run by Karl Boddington) . The other went to Carl Fortnum, if my memory serves me rightly. You never know they may still have them. I vaguely remember John Manship possibly following up and had a copy or two. If correct, John will have records going back that far to confirm or deny. Edited May 30 by Simon T
