Patto Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Some for the Deck cams if i ever get to DJ at an event that uses them LOL..Mostly common records on their regular labels here are a few rarer and unusual label variations ive picked up over the years.Listed and pics below.Prob lots more around but personally ive never seen any other copies...Not saying they are worth heaps but a few have been talking points for me and record talk is always good Johnny Wyatt....Dutch Fontana Charlie Gracie...UK Demo Gene Chandler...French Coral Gene Chandler...Stars design Arnold Bryant....Demo Brooks and jerry ...Demo Paul Anka....Canadian Red RCA Butch Baker....Withdrawn Demo Joe Tex.....West coast Demo Ronnie and Robyn vocal...Sidra Red Pearlean Gray...West Coast Demo Dalton Boys....Multi coloured Demo 3
Solidsoul Posted May 22 Posted May 22 (edited) Interesting pictures and label variations. The Joe Tex "You Better Believe It Baby" looks good, is it the west coast demo? I remember when this was a big record in Wigan Casino, played 2 or 3 times in the night, for several weeks! Nice original of Arnold Bryant with the two rings around Mercury. First heard Brooks & Jerry in Wigan when Dave Evison played it. He said "If you used to go to the Wheel you'll know this one, if you didn't, don't worry about the beginning"! Eddie Hubbard Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Nice labels ,never seen a Ronnie and Robyn on red Sidra before .I found a Canadian Paul Anka in Vancouver 1980 .Had Arnold Blair WD ,probably should have kept it .Joe Tex looks great on that West Coast label . 1

Solidsoul Posted May 23 Posted May 23 (edited) This Joe Tex west coast demo looks right in every way! Monarch press with the right numbers and styrene profile etc. Also if it isn't an original, why is it very scarce! Edited May 23 by Solidsoul 2

Patto Posted June 6 Author Posted June 6 Heres one i suspect not many of you have..Not a rare issue but more of an anomaly lol Odd one here from my collection.Larry Hale Once.Deffo original VINYL Copy with all the right Run out marks. But no title or credits on the Once side.Anyone seen another like it Got to be the rarest copy out there lol..Great oldie from the early Casino era Run out details are D 203 A (Note: no dash between the 203 and the A) scratched in the deadwax. The fakes are a lighter blue/green colour and even though they have the drill hole, the deadwax details are D 203 - A (Note the - [dash] between the 203 and the A 1

Popular Post Mal C Posted June 7 Popular Post Posted June 7 Here are a few Aussie ones, I love W&G records, as they put up some really good stuff down under, Cold Blood looks the business on Green Atlantic as well... 4
