Wow, what a night. A massive thank you to all that came along to make the night one that we'll remember for a long time. I still can't get my head around the fact we're in our 16th year. I've noticed we change & evolve music wise as the years pass, to keep it fresh. In other words, you won't hear the same records played every time at Stewartby.

I did the 7:30 to 9pm spot & thought I'd do a mix of late Twisted Wheel, The Scene (London) & Torch sounds, plus a few extras thrown in.

Carl Fortnum followed with something for everyone. Pee Wee, Shuck & Huey - Beside Myself , incredible acetates, Motown, all sounding fresh.

Then on came Mr Bruno Jerez. Bruno treated us to an hour & a half of some of the best rare Soul, Northern & rhythm & Soul sounds out there. Again, not playing all the same sounds he played last year at Stewartby, but yet again playing fresh sounds. It's lovely to see someone who has so much passion for the records he collects. Thanks again Bruno & we look forward to your return next March.

Carl & I followed Bruno by double decking until Geoff Ware came on to end the night.

A big thank you to Sue over on the door x All the lovely staff behind the bar x Dave Crawley for all his help behind the scenes.

But biggest thanks go to all the friends that support Stewartby Soul Nights x
