Not sure on the Metro-Art releases but I'm sure Robinson was part of Homebrew who did the okish 'Once I had A Friend'/'Disco Teaser' M (Big 'M' in Music) Records. Recall finding a link between the two, once. Carolinas labels aren't they? (M and Metro-Art)? Doesn't help much but adds a bit of speculative trivia Edited March 15, 2007 by J-Brew

Guest jmperlmu Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Indeed the same Robinson as "Fantasy," but not sure about a connection with Homebrew. Here are the Metro-Art releases that I'm aware of (the "We Are The People" is nice sweet soul, and the flip is funky): 6091-29 Curtis Robinson and Satin "We Are The People/ I But Woulda, Coulda Shoulda" 1976 907061X Curtis Robinson "Free Man/ Inst." 1979 006045 Curtis Robinson "Fantasy/ Inst." 1980 007017X The Sensational Monarchs "Almighty God/ One Day" 1980 (gospel)
