inactive members clear out

It's time for a clean up of the member base

All inactive (no visits) before Jan 2021 have been sent an email as per the below

An issue with these clear outs is if you have turned our emails off you will never get this or similar emails in the future, so it does make some sense to turn them on if you value your account on here

Anyway here's the email

In a months time all those still inactive account will be closed and then deleted a year later

As your account is currently inactive it will automatically be closed as part of our regular clean up.

However if you do wish it to remain open then all you need to do is simply visit the site and login!

Doing that will clear the inactive status and will avoid automatic closure

If do you wish it deleted straight away now just let us know via reply and will do

Ok this clear out is now finished 

All accounts not active since 01 Jan 2021 have been closed

 

If any member with a closed account wishes it to be opened, then get in touch, just use the contact us feature at the bottom of the page

Note in a years time all the inactive closed account will be deleted

 

All closed accounts not active since 01 Jan 2020 have now been deleted 

 

Note these clear outs are needed for both data protection and server issues

The next clear out is due in Jan 2025

Good job, well done.

On a fairly amusing point, well it's amusing me as I type as it's been nagging away at me for nearly twenty years. 

Has the original Peter now gone; but are there new one's?! 

Must I continue with the suffice "99", or can I be released from the Mr Whippy soundalike?
