Afternoon, all...

I wonder if anyone out there would have easily-accessible copies of the following Al Wilson 45s:

Gettin' Ready For Tomorrow (Soul City 767 - the flip of 'The Snake')

You Do The Right Thing (Bell 909)

Bachelor Man (Bell 909/Carousel 30052)

Falling (Carousel 352)

Here at Ace/Kent we (extremely) urgently need the timings of these four tracks (and we also need writer and publisher info on "Falling") so that we can clear them for release on an upcoming Al Wilson project that's going through the system at the moment.

Don't need anything else at this point, just the timings.

Whoever comes up with this info first will be rewarded with a brace of Ace or Kent CDs of his or her choice.

Thanks in advance,

TONE

Tone, is Al still alive and performing?

Did he ever appear live in the UK at a Northern Soul event performing his northern tunes ?

Yes, he's still out there and still working - like Brenton Wood, he's big on the 'low rider' circuit in east L.A.

If memory serves, Ady had him on at a Cleethorpes that I wasn't able to get to, about 10 years ago.
