Visual grade: M- €1600 The Leaves of Grass – I can’t wait until tomorrow / My baby don’t understand – Konduko I bet this one will be catching a few by surprise! You’re looking at the only known copy of a heavy-hitting, enigmatic Miami lowrider jam from 1973. The alternate of the Arnold Albury tune on Dade on the flipside only adds to the mystique. How does this even still pop up after 50 plus years of laying dormant? Visual grade: VG+ to EX €1500 Eddie Foster – I never knew / I will wait – IN 6311 Hands in the air, talc on the floor Northern dancer. Glossy record with a couple feelable marks and inaudible minor scuffing. Plays well with some intermittent pops during the first thirty seconds. Visual grade: VG- to VG €800 One Hundred Years Time – Take care of my love / If it’s feeling you want – VIP 200 In-demand DC sweet soul with a unique boogie funk flip. Visual grade: VG, minor warp NAP €350 Don Scott – Love with me / Loving you – noD ttocS Records 1001 Private modern boogie banger with plenty of bass to get the floor moving. Visual grade: M- €175 Beverly Ann – You’ve got your mind on other things / Until you – RCA Victor 47-9468 DJ Copy Northern oldie dancer. Looking clean but plays with some minor noise during intro, probably due to a bit of dirt in the grooves. Visual grade: VG+, minor warp NAP €160 The Four Um – What the world needs now / Day dreaming – Libra 701 Jazz-funk monster in super clean condition. Minor discoloration on A-side label. Visual grade: M- €150 Jay And The Techniques – Dancin’ mood (mono/stereo) – Smash 36 DJ Copy Crossover winner on a clean demo. Visual grade: EX to M-, minor warp NAP €150 Carl Carlton – I love only you / So what – Lando 843L-8527 DJ Copy I guess this is sought after for the dancer on the A side, but I strongly suggest you check out the brilliant slice of mid-tempo kiddie soul on the flip, with a twelve year old Carl already showing signs of brilliance at such a tender age. Visual grade: M-, minor warp NAP €125 Tommy Bush – Come on now / Right kind of love – Boxer 3001 Pounding funky edged dancer with a top notch soulful R&B flip. Visual grade: EX, minimal warp NAP €120 Tune Smith – All souled out / Where did you go – Private label Private funky disco AOR kinda thing of unknown provenance. Visual grade: EX €120 Roosevelt Watson – This world is in a bad condition Pt I/II – Designer 45-6966 Rare moody Style Wooten produced gospel. Visually at the lower end of VG but clears up nicely. Visual grade: VG €100 Wynnettes – Oh lord take care of me / I once was lost in sin – Wynnette-Martin 101 Ultra obscure Texas gospel R&B Visual grade: VG, minor short warp NAP €100 Mirage – Can’t stop a man in love / I had a fight with love – WB 8242 Blinding slice of 70s soul that is only featured on the hard to find issue copy. Pressed ever so slihtly off-center. Doesn’t detract for me but just make sure to check the flip before pulling the trigger. Visual grade: M-, minor warp NAP €80 Eldora McDaniel – I know you / Instrumental – McDaniel 101 Total gangster vibe on this enigmatic private release, probably from somewhere down South. Visual grade: G+, medium warp NAP €80 The Bibletones of Boston, Mass. – Lead me and guide me / Everyday that I live to see – Bilesse 016 Driving funky black gospel. Rare! Pressed a bit off-center, but can be played without adjusting. Visual grade: EX to M-, off-center €65 Delilah Moore – I’ll just walk away / I wish – Money 602 Beauty early 70s girlie soul from the artist that recorded on Loma as Delilah Kennebruew a couple of years earlier. Visual grade: VG €60 Connie Pitts – Working people / Thank thee – HOB 1396 Sister gospel funk with a badass low end. Shows up but usually not in this condition. Visual grade: M- €60 The White Singers – When he spoke / Tell the angels – Champ 854 Cool downbeat gospel with electric guitar backing. I’ve had this in the collection because of the funky edged flip so you might wanna check that one out too. Pretty damn rare record btw! Visual grade: VG, medium warp NAP €60 Rev. Donald Gay – So glad I know / My soul – Davis 109 Obscure black gospel on one of the best Chicago labels from the era. Visual grade: VG €55 Master Four – It’s not the end / Love from the far east – Tay-Ster 6024 DJ Copy Doo-wop infused Detroit soul ballad on the 1968 issue. Probably the cheapest copy you’ll see in a while. Visual grade: EX to M-, minor warp NAP €50 Bobby Jackson – You got me rocking and rolling / Dreamy Sunday – Jan 102 Cool Alabama R&B rocker. This copy seems to have lived a full life, but plays better than what the gazillion marks would suggest. Visual grade: F €50 New Swing Sextet – Goin’ out of my head / You better watch it now – Cotique 127 Remarkably good atmospheric latin version of the Little Anthony classic, with a dance floor oriented boogaloo flip. Extremely rare on a 45. Visual grade: VG to VG+ €45 Delorise Berry – No other girl / Crying won’t help me now – Cotillion 45-44008 DJ Copy Driving Florida dance. Clean player. Deep ballad flip has more marks and plays with a bit of noise Visual grade: VG to VG+ €45 Sylvia – If you’re looking for a fool / Seasons of our love – Prestige 70-464 Oddball 70s funk breaks from Alabama. Visual grade: Strong VG €40 Eldridge Homes – Working in the coal mine / A love problem – Decca 32488 Lesser-known version of the Allen Toussaint penned classic. As clean as they come. Visual grade: EX to M- €40 The Southerners – I’ll wait for the lord / Southerners prayer – Jewel 103 DJ Copy Organ gospel funk on a rare white demo. Visual grade: VG+ €35
