Killer R&B from the ever popular Resist label (Hayes Cotton, Wilbur Reynolds etc.) similarly infectious and unique sound. Not sure why this hasn’t ever been big as it has everything, maybe now is it’s time it certainly sounds right. Tough 45 like it’s stablemates, only copies I can see are £170 plus.

Revelons - I Want Good Lovin’ (From You)(VRC) Mint- £30

Another label that always delivers, one of the lesser known and consequently less sought after or as expensive. Killer sister funk/northern that sounds absolutely spot on for today’s dance floors. Not sure why this hasn’t been picked up on before, a chance to grab one now whilst it’s still cheap.

Soul Stirrers - Striving (Checker) Mint- £20

Last couple of these I’ve had have flown out! Killer funky gospel that still seems to be under the radar, can only find the one YouTube clip below, so not widely known and not expensive (yet) but ‘Don’t You Worry’ was cheap once!
