Kenb Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) is there anybody (obviously attendees', and not special queue occurences,in the sincerest sense, still alive) who went to a Casino allnighter who has any recollections of the 'lastest time' you ( he, she) got in (legit). Edited January 25 by Kenb

Solution Neil Austin Posted January 25 Solution Posted January 25 Got in at 4.15 am , nobody on the door Shutter down for mrs woods kiosk just walked in , freebee 1
Solidsoul Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) A lot of the time, once it got later than 4 or 5 o'clock there was no one on the door. People where coming and going after that time unchecked. It seemed to me they had made their money for that night, so weren't bothered about hanging around for the dribs and drabs after that. Edited January 26 by Solidsoul 1
Neil Austin Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Yep , unlike 4 hours earlier it was a complete crush to get in , leaping up the stairs 2

Kenb Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 (edited) I asked because i was always an early leaver, about 4.30m (on the limited occasions i did go, upto mid/Late 1974) and one time had to get someone (Harry or Gerry i guess) to let me out. Other few times i left early, i met lads coming the other way i.e. IN. Edited January 26 by Kenb

Neil Austin Posted January 27 Posted January 27 15 of us went most weeks in the back of a Luton van , huddled up from Lancaster driver Martin Brogan once went in the boot of a Vauxhall as the car was full and no seat left wasn’t to bad to be honest 1 1
Frankie Crocker Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Don’t know about the latest entry but I’m claiming an early one... First visit in March 1974 just blew me away so I went back the following Saturday. Caught the bus from Culcheth to Leigh then another to Wigan. I arrived about 10 or 11 o’clock, so to kill time, I went into the early disco. The Allnighter started at 2.00 am. in those days so I passed the time watching the locals get more and more pissed. Towards the end of the disco, the lads were dropping their trousers and running around on the dance floor. A few of the lads were playing at dead ants. Definitely one of the more memorable visits to The Casino - also glad when the Beachcomber came to my attention so I never had to experience another disco. 1
Happy Feet Posted January 27 Posted January 27 2nd anniversary, got busted about 2.30 am after queuing for the best part of 2hrs to get in , banged up in a cell with a few others , was released and told to return on the following Wednesday with a parent to receive a caution (didn't go down to well , but my Dad did agree to come with me ) but was released on the night in question and got back in , just in time for the 3 before 8 and a lift home . 2
