Nogger RIP

Sad to hear of the passing of Neil Allen or to everyone out there Nogger.

A good friend and Stoke legend, sorry to say he has finally lost his long fight with illness and has gone to the turntables in the sky. I shall never forget him, particularly his advice before my first ever spot at Keele ... "if you f*** it up I shall boot you all round that dance floor". He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Sorry to hear that Martyn, Nogger was a lovely guy ,loved his Soul music , was always loyal to his friends,and a great friend of Neil and Paul, I was always glad to see him at Keele when Neil was running the show, he will be sadly missed but never forgotten, I’ve had some happy memories with him back in the day

Our sincere condolences to all, very sad news.  I had many a good chat with Nogger over the years, he could always find plenty of bargains in the record bars.

I too had a friendship with him. Went to a local soul do with him which wasn't on. So back to his house for food and a brew and to meet his mum. Recordwise put me onto bobby Bell don't come back to me. Often wondered if he was still with us. Found out health had got the best of him. He's done well til now. Miss you buddy.
