Just a bit of trivia, keeping it simple who do you think could have done a good copy of an original Soul recording, just two artists and tunes each please, I’m a believer that originals as a rule btw are always the best, I will start things off.

Super great Northern Soul backing track and production,  but spoiled by two very poor vocals. I have always thought Karl Evans and Louise Lewis do not have very soulful voices.

I often imagine The Blossoms or The Apollos singing the song with Soul!  Or maybe Jean Carter of "Like One" fame!
