Gene Graham - You Can’t Change Me (Checker) Vg++ £225

Very tough to find Checker 45, R&B with a funk edge that’s about to get some serious turntable action from Brian Maguire and Paul Vine. Barely known at the moment thanks to rarity. Was gonna keep this and okay it out myself but selling as in need of funds.

Gorgeous group harmony ballad that’s not common, surprising this isn’t selling for more but not on many people’s radar (yet) except the lowrider collectors. Lovely copy, clean labels.

Yes this tea is a Garage version of Guy’s Boogaloo Investigator c/up from the halcyon days of Stafford. This sounds bang on for now, Mike Vickers still sounds great but the garage twist on this is perfect for today’s changing tastes!

Virtually unknown gospel funk banger, brilliant dancer and easily as good as any of the better gospel biggies. Flip is a brilliant deep ballad that’s yet to be discovered across the pond - double sided dynamite!
