Guest Neil Taylor Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Oliver Norman Drowning in my own despair Decca 32209 Has anyone got for sale a copy of this. Cheers......Neil.
Chalky Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 fab record. Ben amongst my plays for couple of years now.
Guest Neil Taylor Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 It`s a top tune, that`s for sure,All my usual sources have led to a dead end,i`m hoping i get some luck on here. Neil
Guest Michael Higgins Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Is this tune on the PINK decca--- Yep, those are the demos, which I can't imagine are all that rare given how many were around when it was uncovered. Never seen an issue, but I'm sure they're about. It also had a UK issue, I think on Polydor (recorded in the UK, after all!) but I'm guessing Pete Smith or someone would know. The flip "Your love counts" is good as well. Happy hunting!!
Jo Law Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Thank you for the info Michael-----If funkinsoul still needs one pm me-jo
Guest Michael Higgins Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Thank you for the info Michael-----If funkinsoul still needs one pm me-jo Thinking about it, I wouldn't go by my word on the "it can't be rare" bit. I had a Wade Flemons "Jeanette" in amongst my old soulpack junk until a couple of years ago.
Jo Law Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 no worries michael regarding RARE----like you--- this to has been sat in a box for years without getting played-may as well go to someone who will play it--it never was my cup of tea---- prefer the midtempo girlies myself--------each to our own--------jo
