Beautiful blue eyed ballad that’s both very rare and still very much under the radar. Just nine times through eBay and only four through Discogs. Gorgeous copy that looks unplayed!

Johnny Neel And Shapes Of Soul - You’ve Got To Hold Me (Richie) Mint- £150

Rare, obscure and an absolute killer slab of blue eyed kiddie sweet soul. Even rarer than the 45 above going by Discogs (just two) and eBay (three). If this was better known it’d be twice this price and then some, one that can only rise in value. Again a gorgeous copy that looks unplayed! Don’t sleep.

The Wrong Rain - I’m So Proud (Tomi) Vg- £150

Simply stunning ‘Shades of Sorrow’ blue eyed lowrider and easily the rarest of the three, arguably the least known too. Just two recoded sales on Discogs and up until yesterday only once through eBay. Last night’s copy, a mint copy, sold by Carolina Soul made $441. Looks like the word is finally out on this rarity. Condition is not great on this one, lots of hairlines, no big deep marks or loud clicks but light background crackle throughout - would benefit from a professional clean (someone like Yann could probably get this up a grade quite easily). Priced accordingly.
