Ooof! Northern meets R&B, meets Funk with a splattering of Garage Soul for good measure creating an infectious and furious dance floor banger with killer breaks. This has everything needed to crossover to a number of scenes and it’s a rare one! Last couple have been £200+ on Discogs and it has a high sale of £373 on eBay. Just the one YouTube clip (and that’s recent) and barely seen on playlists in the right hands this could be massive.

First Grade - Please Come Back (Frog) Mint- £125

Fabulous Garage Soul dancer that has had some northern plays in the past but is definitely right for now. Sounded great when played at The LockUp last Saturday by Dazz Holt. Last few on Discogs have been £200 and I’ve seen a couple in the past at £150 so think this is a fair price given it’s rarity, quality and potential.

Compass - (You Are) Spring Of My Life/That’s Enough For Me (True Love Records) Ex £75

Superb double sided Garage Soul 45, topside is a sublime piece of crossover soul, flip it for a slice of funk edged mid tempo that’s had a few plays across Europe and at RSF events. My last copy went via private sale to the first person I offered it to - one to watch for sure and not an easy 45 to find!

Sublime seventies sweet soul/crossover 45, lots of demand stateside for this amongst the lowrider collectors and rightly so. My last copy flew out at £55 and I’ve seen sell at £75 more recently, great copy. (N.B. This is the demo so has Mono/Stereo versions on both sides and does not include the crossover cut ‘Every Time’ or it would be three times the price).
