The Relatives - Lenient with my Love / Archway EX+ Very Catchy 45, great crossover track this, also on an LP that came out some years back… The Whispers - I Can’t See Myself Leaving You / Soul Clock EX++ Very nice clean copy, I rate this track allot. King Floyd - I'm Gonna Fall in Love with You / Chimmeyville EX++ Keith Woon tip, this is a brilliant, sweet midtempo track from 75, really catchy. Billy McGregor - It's My Turn Now / Mello Tone (Gold 1st Issue) EX++ Very nice copy, and another crossover classic on the first issue. Ray Frazier & the Shades of Madness - Your Eyes / Carriage EX+ A little rub on the label, hardly noticeable, styrene copy, plays and looks clean. Barbara Mason - Give Me Your Love / Buddah (Germany) Pic Sleeve EX+ Ellis & Cephas - I'm Gonna Miss you Girl /Heart VON’s Records EX++ (con pic sleeve) Came from the Lotus Land batch they had around 2005/6, all dried up now. Sharon Clark & Product of Time - Mama Didn't lie/I'm not afraid of Love / YODI Test Press (Plastic Products) VG++ Never seen another demo of any Yodi releases. I spoke to Sharon Clark in the 2000’s, and she told me all about these two recordings for Eddie ‘Dealth’ Merry’s label, lovely lady. Jackie Milton – Little by Little / de-vel EX++ One of the best crossover de-val releases, floating 7ts, very, very nice Sam Dees - Fragile, Handle with Care / Atlantic (Jamaican) EX++ Got this direct from the chap who discovered the batch in 2004, straight off the wall in his shop in Sydney. He had piles of them under the counter, Comes with Orig JA sleeve. Albert Jones – You and your love / Candy Apple EX++ Always a crossover winner, very nice track and copy Gwen McCrae - He Keeps Something Groovy Going On / CAT EX++ From her LP, this is such a beautiful swayer of a track, even her lesser songs are brilliant, you simply can’t go wrong… Jerry Washington - Set Your Soul On Fire / EXCELLO EX++ A staple ‘Excello’ 45, A brilliant driving track… Lee LaMont - I'll Take Love / Backbeat VG+ a few warps, but plays clear... Mokie, J.J. & R.O.B. - You’re So Real / Sun, Moon and Stars EX++ Oldie from the Mecca, nice copy. Joe Valentine - I Can’t Stand to See You Go / One Night of Satisfaction / RONN WD Sheer class, seriously good Deep soul 45. Herb Johnson – War / War (Inst) AOTN limited 300 copies / AOTN EX++ Unreleased https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qz6Iyk_1xw Flyte Tyme - It's The Things That You Do / I've Got You on My Mind / Numero (Pink Vinyl) EX++ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJCiCE7GkWQ Comes with a mad pic sleeve, this is real quality modern soul track, both sides. Ty Karim - All at Once / Lighten Up / Romark (Kent) EX++ Classic Northern dancer, and. Chuck Jackson – One of those Yester years / All Platinum EX++ From 1977, George Kerr produced, I’ve always liked this track, really good one for a tenner. General Johnson – Don’t Walk Away / Arista sol EX+ Cool as you like, a brilliant 7ts track, bit of staining on the label, plays really nice. Barbara Lewis - Don't Forget About Me / Atlantic EX++ Goffin and King brilliance! Absolutely superb track! The Three Degrees - Find My Way / Roulette EX++ Another Superb track, done by a few, including a corking version by Art Posey. This is a killer if a record, the business! Billy Butler and Infinity - (What Do You Do) When Your Baby's Gone / Pride EX++ From 1973, This is a brilliant laidback grove from the ultra-talented Billy Butler, also on his Pride LP. Sylvia Thomas - At Last / Bamboo EX ++ This track rocks! Sylvia Thomas pulls out all the stops… great rhythm and drums on this 45. William Bell - Born Under a Bad Sign / Stax EX++ Stormer from William Bell, was a bit of a play about 10 years back. Very nice copy play and label. Luv Co - Things are not the Same / Spring Demo EX++ Another brilliant sweet soul 45, arr by Gary Sherman, it was always gonna be brill!! Pic & Bill - All I Want is You / Charay EX++ Supreme slowie, also came out on LaCamm. Pic & Bill – I Love You, Baby / Charay EX++ Another amazing slowie, they never recorded any crap tracks. Brilliant vocals! The Sheppards - I'm Not Wanted / BUNKY EX++ Spanking copy of this very deep soul 45, it’s a haunting track this. The Fuzz - I'm So Glad / Calla EX++ Mecca Magic! This is a real nice shinny copy, great example. Grey & Hanks - How Can You Live Without Love / RCA EX++ The Two Tons - Never Like This / Fantasy / Honey Records / Demo EX++ Two from the two tons, both essential soul 45’s, and both nice copies…. Two Tons O' Fun - Just Us / Fantasy / Honey Records / EX++ second of the two, again, a brilliant track, and a nice copy…. First Choice – Gonna Keep on Lovin Him / Philly Groove EX++ This is the flip of ‘Armed & Extremely Dangerous’ and a far far better track, really good one this. Bobby Womack – Lookin’ for a Love / UA EX+ Classic Womack from 1973, nice clean issue copy. Major Harris – After Lovin You / Atlantic The 74 Atlantic release, easy 45, but my golly is it a good one. Eddie Floyd - Big Bird / Atlantic UK issue EX++ UK Blue issue, faultless copy, real nice one. William Bell - The Man in the Street / Stax Bell Brilliance, tad off mint, its a spanker, really nice copy. The Mandells - How To Love A Woman / TRANS WORLD SOUND EX++ Chicago classic now, this is their best on this label. The Continental Four - What You Gave Up / Jay Walking EX++ Classic Northern 7ts dancer, very nice copy. The Satisfactions - One Light Two Lights / LIONEL EX++ There is a reason this is such a cool track, it’s written by Landy McNeil, and the group do a great job on the song. A Spanking copy, with orig sleeve. Loleatta Holloway - I Know Where You’re Coming From / AWARE EX++ Flip of ‘Show must go on’, this is the side for me, absolute blinder of a record! Syreeta - What Love Has Joined Together / Tamla Motown EX++ As far as I know this only got a 45 release in the UK, from 72, this a brill track, really uplifting! Billy Preston - Can't She Tell / Capitol EX++ Every pianist has their sound, and this track for me, just encapsulates Billy’s playing, produced by David Axelrod, it’s a blinding record! Ella Washington - I Can't Afford to Lose Him / SS7 EX++ Used to be in every box, supreme deepie, and really nice copy. Lilly Fields Hoagy Lands - Sweet Soul Brother / Spectrum EX++ Sweet as you like, this is a killer record from Lilly and Hoagy. As above, real nice copy. The Rance Allen Group - Gonna Make It Alright / Gospel Truth EX++ Best eight quid you will spend this year! The Younghearts - I've got Love for my Baby / Minit EX+ Bobby Sanders Production, arranged by Arthur Freeman, great record, with eastern riff in it… ---- I prefer direct Bank Transfer, but you can pay by PayPal either Friends & Family or add the normal 4% fee.
