A mixed bag of 60s and 70s rarities to go!

-------------------------------------------

Joey Irving – Can You Handle Me Girl / What Happened to the Love We Knew (Vincent Records) - $1200 (NM)

The man needs no introduction. Mega 70s crossover from Illinois, with an excellent sweet soul groover on the flip.  Both sides gritty as hell.

Onyx – Break it Loose (Parts I and II) (Nia Records) - $450 (NM)

Monster of a 70s funk vocal from the East Bay, riding the coattails of group harmony.  Clean labels, clean vinyl. One of the best of the Bay!

Four Real Inc. – The Man (Master Plan) / Ghetto Blues (Flying Eagles) - $450 (EX-)

70s funky Northern winner produced by Richard “Popcorn” Wylie. Minor hairlines on “The Man” side that do not affect play.  Otherwise clean and plays great.

Harold Jackson – The Freedom Riders / Travelin’ (Edsel) - $450 (EX)

Super clean copy of this early 60s gritty soul/R&B groover.  Party starter par excellence.  Red X on Freedom Riders side, as is common on a lot of copies.

The Spoilers – Sad Man’s Land / Turbo Rock (Turbo) - $450 (VG)

Unreal late 60s sweet soul group harmony from a powerhouse New Jersey label.  Lowrider oldies at its best.  Hairlines and sleevewear on each site, but nothing affecting play.  Sounds crisp and clean.  Ring wear on labels on both sides.

The Metros – Since I Found My Baby / No Baby (RCA Victor) - $225 (VG)

Quintessential 60s Detroit Northern banger.  Hairlines and sleevewear on each site, but nothing affecting play.  Plays VG+.  Minor label wear, and marker through “RCA” on each eide.

Carol Jones – Don’t Destroy Me / Problem Child (Mutt) - $125 (EX+)

Late 60s soul sister mid-tempo monster with funky soul vocal on the flip.  Excellent record.

Music ‘N’ Motion – Lady in Waiting / I’ve Got to Find My Place (True Soul) - $100 (NM)

Beautiful 70s crossover group harmony with a deep soul flip from this Little Rock staple label.
