(Excellent 2 sider, a horn back sassy vocal on the top side, the flip, ignore the title, its a decent soul dancer, on a great beat)

(One of the greatest boxers of course, but he also knocked some songs out the park, his Cloverlay releases not to be missed, this is more laid back and slower paced but he does have a voice)

(A recent auction item for John Manship, and according to the write up a rare one, Sax Kari involvement in this raw bouncy NOLA release. 2 Xol)

(Wonderful cover of the elusive and brilliant Shamettes on Gold Dust outing)

Elvin Spencer - Lift this hurt - Winner 0742 M- £100

(Great crossover, Chicago label, Elvin produced. Minor edge lift does not affect play)

(Absolutely brilliant version. Typical Jamaican record, untidy label fixing, so off-centre, with a 1.5cm square tear)
