Seano Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I noticed that M&W are on later with another episode of their new series, 'Gone Fishing'. I'm not into fishing but do enjoy these programmes. Just wondered what they listen to in the car while travelling to have a few days out there fishing? This could be a favourite; what other fish related tracks would you add for them?
Daved Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I think Bob likes a bit of soul. He was singing Ghetto Child last series. 2

Seano Posted September 12, 2023 Author Posted September 12, 2023 Thanks for chipping in people (see what I did there @De-to ). Plenty more fish related tracks in the sea still to come I hope....

Kesalocasoul Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 If we add Cod Bless The Child by Billie Holliday A Plaice in the Sun by Stevie Wonder and You Set my Sole on Fire by Edwin Starr we'll have enough for an album (the Compleat Angler?) 1

But good to see the reference to the Fat Fish label earlier, and linked to that , the Leon Haywood track from @Mickyfinn above. So here's Leon on Fat Fish: 1

Wonder if that was George Clinton slipping that one in, given the Funkadelic track (Fish, chips and sweat) that @De-to posted earlier? Impressive writing team with him alongside Holland and Dozier.

Popular Post Stateside Posted September 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 14, 2023 I'm off Salmon fishing in Scotland in October and we'll be mostly listening to "Sole" on the way up and hoping to catch them using a "Superfly"! We'll certainly be "Wading In The Water" and hope my line doesn't get "Caught Up" or "Wrapped Tied and Tangled" 5
