The Mortimer & Whitehouse playlist?

I noticed that M&W are on later with another episode of their new series, 'Gone Fishing'. I'm not into fishing but do enjoy these programmes.

Just wondered what they listen to in the car while travelling to have a few days out there fishing? This could be a favourite; what other fish related tracks would you add for them?

Great suggestions so far - really love this one, an old soul pack winner for me.

Nice. It was actually listening to this while painting the hallway this afternoon that gave me the idea for the thread!

Sadly I'm maxed out on reactions for the day it seems. But good to see the reference to the Fat Fish label earlier, and linked to that , the Leon Haywood track from @Mickyfinn above.

So here's Leon on Fat Fish:

Roy Handy - Baby That's A Groove.  Fish and Chips in the lyrics.

Good spot. Wonder if that was George Clinton slipping that one in, given the Funkadelic track (Fish, chips and sweat) that @De-to posted earlier? Impressive writing team with him alongside Holland and Dozier.

Not heard that before, love it. It feels like it would be something Bob Mortimer might be whistling as he takes another distracted tumble.

Nice album. I'm guessing that's a lemon sole (anybody know their fish?). Clever choice of image compared to the sultry sexual covers you often see. 👍

Sonny Fishback - Heart Breaking Man,
Mighty Hannibal - Fishing Pole,
Maurice Jackson - Lucky Fellow (Lakeside)
Blue Sharks - These Things Will Keep Me Loving You

and the best one, Universal Mind - Something Fishy Going On!

Good titles, not familiar with those, and excellent track in the image. Posted earlier in the list by @Owd Codger too.
