1. Sampy & The Bad Habits - Stick With Me / Lagniappe (Caillier) strong VG £300 now £280

Such an in-demand, dancefloor killer tune! Driving moody Louisiana swamp soul with accordion that always stands out in a set. Fine DJ’ing copy here with a few little clicks here and there.

2. Ron Rush - Cloudy For Me / Cold Cold Man (Aidco) EX £425 now £400

Stock copy of this smooth crossover with a touch of Latin jazz flavor. Small quantity dried up some time ago (most with damaged labels) and with more plays behind it, this record is only going one way.

3. The Reflections - Talk Don’t Bother Me / Heatwave (Malone) strong VG+ £225 now £200

Stunner garage soul covers of the Prophets on Delphi and Martha Reeves, respectively, on this very tough little disc. Dancefloor tested and in the boxes of both John Berchtold and Fonsoul as well, to give it some pedigree. A few light non-sounding marks shy of EX, though basically impossible in any condition. Act fast!

Rough copy of this rare San Diego sweet soul double header, playable with some inherent crackle for the grade. Can provide clips.

5. Jeffrey Gaither - Struggling Ghetto Woman / Just A Natural Man (Murbo) VG+ £170 now £150

Rare NY ghetto tale type record, equal parts jazzy, psych-y and soulful. Was surprisingly reissued not long ago, here on the original outing. A few light non-feelable scuffs shy of EX, promo sticker on the flip as most copies have.

Outstanding gospel modern / free soul dancer hipped by the one and only Henning Börm, still not widely known and rare! Spoken intro then whooosh Signed by lead vocalist Lee Hunt Jr on the flip.

Raw hand-clapping, party-starting gospel funk right here! Privately pressed, with known copies countable on one hand - only two sales on Popsike, zero for Discogs. Presumably battered copy on discogs, here a strong playing one with the odd pop here and there - 100% ready to turn some heads in your set!
