Killer double hitter! I prefer the haunting ‘Foolish Things’ personally but both sides are sublime. Also released on Uptown but this is the first issue and both are hard to find especially in decent condition. Not that widely known and on the way up so who knows how much in 12 month’s time!

Another fantastic double sider, topside is yet another under the radar lowrider cut that’s as good as anything you’ll hear for double the price, flip it for some relatively unknown storming northern worthy of some exposure.

Donn Alimingo (AKA Donn and The Delighters) Pretty Black Girl (Black Beauty) Ex £50

AKA Donn and The Delighters, AKA Donald Jenkins and The Delighters! Here’s an opportunity to own a genuine under the radar rarity that simply never surfaces at arguably a fraction of what it should go for! Stunning sweet soul ballad that I’ve only seen in the late great Bob Abraham’s collection (a WD credited to Donn and The Delighters - where the only YouTube clip is from). Here is the issue copy, seen fewer than five times on eBay and Discogs and credited to Donn Alimingo. All the copies listed on Popsike have the stick on stars on the label (or residue from them) so these I assume were officially added after pressing. A very rare 45.

Aaron Neville - She Took You For A Ride (Parlo) Mint- £25

Last, cheapest, but certainly not least a 45 that seems under the radar here but we’ll known stateside. Last few I’ve had have gone to pretty well known DJs so must be getting some plays somewhere! Not many 45s of this quality still available for this sort of price! Doesn’t turn up that often either so expect to see it rise soon.
