Mal C Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Hi folks, another great selection of modern and crossover sales here, happy to send photos if you want. ---- Festival - Something in Your Smile / NEVIS Records EX++ Great UK Soul Indie from 1978. This is a great semi known 7ts track, great vocal, nice pacey track. Keni Lewis - What`s her Name / Buddah Demo EX++ Brilliant 45, bit of rub on the label, but doesn’t detract, plays nice and clean Portia Ogbu - Now it's Gone / Regalia EX++ Very interesting 45, Portia Ogbu-McNair, was a Nigerian princess who had a successful career as an singer/actress, she was a member of a jazz group led by her first husband, Copeland Davis, hence this 45 appearing on Regalia. King Diamond - Black Woman / That’s All She Wrote / Power House EX++ Great double sider, Black Woman is a classic, the flip is Gil Billingsley penned, and sung by him on another release. Merv Murphy - It's Growing / Simmons EX++ Underrated 45, this track is the business. Skye – Ain’t no Need / ANADA EX+ Brill version of Ralph Graham on Sussex…some superficial marks, but plays clean, nice label. The Royal Esquires - Ain't Gonna Run / Prix EX++ From the find, tad off mint, great RS spin from the late 7ts… ----- I prefer direct Bank Transfer, but you can pay by PayPal either Friends & Family or add the normal 4% fee. Postage: £4.50 for 1st Class signed for (Within the UK) anything over a ton via Special Delivery, £8.00 (Insured up to £750) within the UK. * If you are outside the UK, just tell me where and I'll quote you via PM. Cheers Malcolm
