Guest soulwaxusa Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Howdy! For those who don't know me I'm a record dealer from the Bronx NYC. I can be reached directly at soulwaxusa at aol dot com. Shipping within the US is $2.75. Overseas shipping via airmail is $6 for one disc (UK, Europe, Japan etc...). Each additional disc is $1.50 extra. All records are originals (no boots or repros!) unless otherwise noted. Standard US grading is used ... M, VG, G with pluses and minuses used. I do not use E as is common with UK grading. A VG++ record is very clean. Paypal is the best, safest, and fastest payment method however I can also accept money orders in US dollars drawn on a US bank or well concealed cash (your risk) via registered mail. Message me or email directly for availability. If I hold a disc for you definite payment arrangements must be made within 5 days or I reserve the right to sell the discs elsewhere. Thanks! Sebastian Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Note: comes with 2 different b-sides....!! Yes, released twice with different catalogue numbers, flipsides and label designs. Leonard Lee - Miss Lulu's Wig / Bartender - TRUMPET 102 Leonard Lee - Miss Lulu's Wig / Woman Rules the World - TRUMPET 103
Kev Connellan Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Hi Sebastian, mine is the pink 102, but that Green 103 looks VERY nice indeed
Pomonkey Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Neither flip is really that great but the green design does have the edge!
Guest Funky Old Man Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Love the label pics! If anyone has seen another release on this Trumpet label please post. There is a Trumpet label out of Jackson Mississippi, but that folded early 1950s and I believe it released all 78 rpm 10 inch records.. This New Orleans Trumpet label I have never seen. The trumpet player looks to be Louis Armstrong, but maybe a character portrait of Dave Batholomew? I would guess there are no other issues than 102 and 103. As a New Orleans native, I never heard of this at all.
