Dry Well - Gypsy (Lauren) Vg+ (one gentle tick on first revolution only thereafter plays as Mint-) £200

A very rare specimen indeed! An old Casino c/up I believe and one that couldn’t be more right for now if it tried. A storming mix of soul, garage and psych that is highly sought after on more than one scene! Also released on La Salle and credited to Ellen & The Shandells (which is even rarer and was last sold for £600 on Discogs), this one is well not as rare but not far off! This release sold for £350+ recently and it’s no surprise given its obvious rarity and quality. Condition is Vg+ but aside from a gentle tick on the first revolution this plays as clean as a Mint one.

Weekenders – Signed, Sealed And Delivered (Wayne-Way) Ex £125

BOOM! THE best version of this classic JB outing (of which there are at least three by Garage bands). Killer raw, uptempo R&B/Garage that is damn rare! Seen this at £300 and £200 before now, recently sold a copy to a well-known upfront DJ so it’s about to get some serious action. Only a very recent addition to YouTube (from that very sale). Opportunity to be ahead of the rest – my last copy.

A Michele Coco exclusive (until now). A total private press that seems to have appeared only a handful of times across eBay and Discogs. Fabulous garage soul dancer that’s yet to be heard in the UK as far as I know. Not on YouTube (DM for clip) …

Eddie and The Rays – I Feel Like Crying/One And One Makes Three (Titan) Vg £35

Texas garage double sider that’s been on Jack White’s playlist recently and another very recent addition to YouTube. Flip is a nice garage soul ballad too, that’s not on YouTube (DM for clip). Not the best looking copy, plays with some crackle here and there but this is mostly drowned out by the audio. YouTube clip for reference only (DM for a clip if you want to hear the actual copy for sale). Another opportunity to be up there with the very latest discoveries.

Already getting plays in Europe and the UK at more upfront venues and with a history of spins at Dig Deeper in the US! Killer garage soul banger, sounds like someone added crazed vocals to ‘On The Brink’! A break to die for this is going to be absolutely huge! Buy now before the price skyrockets.

Last and by no means least a recent Michele Coco spin of the very highest order and cheap too! Frantic slab of garage soul at it’s very best that once it gets more exposure will be heavily in demand! Remember The Riddles was this price not so long ago!

Killer garage pounder that’s on a few of the European boys’ radar, sold my only other copy to Mr Maguire recently and I think he dropped on a recent live stream. Another that could easily be the next Riddles!

From the label best known for the N Group double sider, here’s one that’s properly under the radar! Played by Paul Roberts on a recent RSF stream to a great deal of interest. Killer garage/R&B that I’m amazed has escaped attention previously. A real find.
