Frankie Crocker Posted June 17, 2023 Share Posted June 17, 2023 Mood Mosaic by a mile. It was the ‘ender’ at Plas Coch Saturday night discos in the late ‘70’s. The Anglesey Soul Crew would fill the floor clamouring for more whilst the Holyhead boozers were staggering off to make sure they had a seat on the free coach. I honestly can’t remember hearing it played out at a major venue back in the day...can’t remember the last time I played the Casino Classic LP’s either - probably not this century, but they’re there just in case I need to. Mike Posted June 18, 2023 Share Posted June 18, 2023 always had it down as a very well known uk high street disco type of record, quite a few 60s/70s mainstream radio djs used it as a theme then round about about 1977/78 for some reason it got revived by the 'oldies' crowd/scene that was going on back then and seemed that those who it was all new to lapped it up and gave it a new burst of life also well known in mainland Europe as well, German tv show theme where does this fit in to the story? The show seemed to change it's theme music most weeks, so no doubt Mood-Mosaic was used one / some weeks around then. Incidentely, Mark Wirtz's guy Keith West performed his song on the show in 1967 (ahead of cutting "Grocer Jack", he'd been lead singer with UK beat group THE IN CROWD). Banging tunes 50 years ago...Zola, The Kid, Sea Cruise, The Trip etc. I’ve heard that some of the punters back then were off their trees...
