Ian J Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Bought mine off Ebay. Pulled into Corley services on the way to Winsford allnighter, plugged my internet dongle into my laptop (those were the days!) and sat waiting to put a late bid in. Got it for £221 if I remember correctly. Always been one of my favourite records. I play it regularly. It always goes down well at Rugby, Swinton and Nuneaton niters. 2
Mick Boyle Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Used to play it to empty floors. Mine was reverse labels, was that common on these. 1
Keamus Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Good looking Canadian copy on John Manship's auction ending next week 1

Spook Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Played it a couple of weeks ago at Newport. Ist heard Pep play it in the early 90's and bought a demo, sold that as you do and now have an issue. 1
Vadnochka Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 John Manship got a purple Canadian Brunswick issue on auction at the moment

Only ever heard it played once, Ian Clark I think at the 100 Club in about 1986 (though my memory might be letting me down there). I've got the issue as well. Great record.

Seconded mate, the tune had sth like a cult status amongst the first German Soul generation, the KENT educated one. First time I heard it "live" was then in 1989 @Leighton Buzzard allnighters, sounded awesome in that huge hall. Demo here since decades and one that will stay with me till the end.. 1
Ben Owen Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Issue here & always normally goes down alright. Brill record...
