Another juicy bunch of soul 45’s up for grabs, labels O to W today, some classics, some hard to find.

Happy to provide additional images or sound files. Happy to hold until pay day. PM any questions or to reserve.

Tommy Tate – I’m taking on pain – Okeh 7242 Ex £250

(In my top 5 beat ballads along with the likes of label buddy Walter Jackson, and Big Dee Irwin on Rotate, so emotive. Lovely on purple stock)

Tobi Lark – I’ll steal your heart – Palmer 500 WD Ex- £250

(The delectable Tobi Legend, what an artist, some fabulous Detroit outings, this one a cheeky dancefloor blinder. Rarer white demo, some surface marks that DNAP, so grading is visual, it plays great at Ex+)

Tobbi Bowe – I can feel him slipping away – Patheway 103 Promo Ex £550

(It appears this big production girly backed Hollywood release is a cover of the Mamie Lee, MGM track. Ignore the flip title “groovy feeling” its as far away as Soul can be from flower power, brilliant dancefloor track. Remained hard to find. Small sticker dot on either side, highlighter circle on. Some nearly inaudible pops)

Charen Cotten - A little bit of love - Philomega 801 M- £150 (Nice smooth feme soul on a J/G distributed label, the hard one to find, more common on the Perception label release)

Tangenettes – You’re the one / Any ol’ way – Ran 101 Ex £85

Tawny Reed – Needle in a haystack – Red Bird 10044 WD M- £200

(Excellent cover of the Velvelettes winner on a fabulous white demo, suits the Mod scene with a classic Hammond organ break, incessant stuff. Small sticker residue on label)

IMG_E3694.thumb.JPG.abc25209c749dee9e3863021e609bd01.JPG

Edwin Starr – Agent OO Soul – Ric-Tic 103 WD Vg+ £250

(Single sided demo, a lovely way to collect the label and of course an anthem. Show sighs of use, but nothing that causes any audible deterioration, it’s a solid Ex player)

Edwin Starr – Stop her on sight – Ric Tic 109 WD M- £45

Stan Deveraux & Trendsetters – Sad tomorrows – Sujay 102 Ex £300

(Lovely tune, smooth vocals with punchy bursts, rare semi-known, appears to be a one-off label, Stan was from Phoenix, Arizona so assume it originates from there. Small xol)
