Birthright was owned by Dr. Byron Spears, a black owned LA, CA gospel record label, which lasted from the mid 1970's until the late 1980's. Birthright is a division of Bee Gee Records, also owned by Dr Spears. The label was based at 3101 S. Western Avenue, LA & by the late 1980's the label had moved to Pasadena, CA.

DCGS strives to bring you a fresh playlist each & every month, bringing you brand new discoveries avoiding any repetitions over the airwaves. Something we take pride in offering, each & every month for 10 years strong.
