Heads up Gang RareNorthernsoul .com has a record listed (see below) c/up as Linda Lewis - Left Without You / Break my Heart In 2 price £850 lol this is in fact June Harris on UK CBS a side is Standback (Break my Heart In 2) B side Over And Over Again (Left Without You), now it has sold for £99 on discogs and appears to be quite hard one to get but come on £850 seems like major attempt at exploitation to me P.s took less than 5 minutes to work it out lol

Am not on any so called "social media" but could the community (or what ever it's called there) openly comment such a 'sale's post' with the support of the RNS group 'moderators' worthy of that name or is all Zukerberg self regulated with liberal commercialist principles ?

Am asking as such a sale's post on here would definitely be 'hot' instantly to the OP despair and shame !

I only look on that site occasionally for a laugh! The listings clog eBay too,nothing ever sells! So yes why do they bother! Must be a business tactic to show high value stock

Like every site that sells records some are very often over priced. But like every one they occasionally miss something. I've had 2 bargains this year from this site..So I suggest that we all should scroll through the sales lists and see what they miss

This seller, we all know who he is , any 45 that will  usually sales for £100 he will want £300 on his site.

probably the most expensive dealer to exist, you have to be lottery winner to buy from the site

Alan Pollard, RIP, used to play stuff to me for my opinion. When I asked him "why me" he stated that I not listened to the pop crap played in the latter stages of Wigan and therefore my  ears where still uninfected!

Well to 'original' theme of Joe 90 is nothing on the soul side so was played as something "kitsch" (Wigan was that too) or 'tongue in cheek'. And is actually great in it's genre (with a proper collector's tag price for the original copy outside the NS things of it) but you don't hear it play at NS venues anymore I believe. But other crap yes. Hawaii 5-0 is not so funny IMO but still in the same idea of 'kitsch' play.

Now Linda Lewis that is disaster incarnated. Outside the cover-up attempt to make it A new "secret sound." So dull to still attempt that with worthless sounds. More so today were mistakes due to bad fashion, drugs or misconception of 'what is soul' (as Ben E. King would sing) should never happen anymore. Respect to Barry Gray for the 'POP' of it and F**k Ron Grainer's version on Casino Classics.

He's got form on pricing things high as a c/u. Remember the Violinairs was covered up and listed for about 450 when it was a 20 quid record which many people knew  It was discussed on here so I'm sure if you search you will find the thread.

There's a John Bowie on there at the moment @ £750.

Don't know how much it goes for personally, but one was listed on here @ £1000 within the last few weeks!
