Gordy Harmon, one of the founding members of The Whispers has died in Los Angeles. He co-wrote several of their Soul Clock & Dore 45s but had to quit professional singing in 1973 after injuring his throat in a car accident. Marcus Hutson replaced him.

Many great materials from this vocal trio but this number has to be one of their most meaningful composition with truly inspired vocals and musical arrangements of the highest order.

Gracing even more their 'fame' rep achieved mostly later though... But for me a rep achieved through their Doré ballads or some of their Soul Clock, Roker and Janus early releases too.

Thank you G. Harmon for setting our souls in such a bliss. God Bless. R.I.P. +
