That is incredibly sad news, for many years John and I were contempories and competitors, but once we had got past the teenage angst I'd like to think we were friends, he will be missed.

My condolences to Ange and his family.

RIP Dear friend / DJ colleague and all round great person - Those days in the 90's when in tandem with Andy, Mick, Glynn and the legion of other guests when we put the Brit back where it belonged are stand-out memories never to be forgotten.

He will go down in history.

Condolences to Ange and family

Can't believe i'm reading this, such a shocker, Played many a soul nite with John way back in the day bought and swapped a few records with him as well, and a  few laughs along the way, was a real nice Guy and well loved by everyone who came into contact with him, he certainly knew his stuff and had very good taste, i had not seen him in a while but have fond memories of him, very Sad news indeed, condolences to all his family and friends and those who were privileged to know  him. RIP John.
