Thorsten Madhatters jbc band on jeree = awesome and unknown. I'm a sweet soul collector but it would also be of interest to funk / modern collectors. all three THAT records on jeree are not bad.

Whats that blinding record on the label that got booted and was on a rare groove type compilation late eighties? Can't remember for the minute, was it something like Tony Troutman or am I thinking of a slightly less than talented superhero?

The ballad is stellar, disco funk side is OK. a/

Hi Stu, yes, the wonderfully named Tony Troutman - What's The Use - great 70s soul! It's on the Jerri label though, not Jeree. How many Jerre/Jerri/Gerrys are there?!! So what else is on this Jeree label then? Rich

Thorsten Madhatters I bought that one thinking that maybe they were the same group as the bunch on Peg-Leg-Bates. Not sure if they are. Dissapointing funk side but the side you clipped is reasonably nice soul stuff
