Sample Cd's

following on from free CD's given away this has got me onto sample cd's as i know i got 1 or 2 it made me think why have these as many times the sample CD's are just using tracks that will eventually come onto a normal album in time.

As in Goldmine will release something like 80 Northern soul CD's and they do a sample cd with about 15 tracks all taken from cd 1 - 80 why bother doing that or even buying it when you can just wait and buy all 80 of the discs
