Two previously unissued 70’s soul sides produced by Ray Parker Jr. Energy MC2 were formerly the Detroit group ‘The Soulful Hounds’ who recorded for Magic City and featured as the backing and touring band for ‘Mad Dog & The Pups’. These recording sessions preceded Arnell Carmichael and Vincent Bonham leaving Energy MC2 to join Ray Parker Jr and Jerry Knight in forming the hit group ‘Rydio’.
