Superb new Australian drama series "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" has me hooked after half of the first episode.

Just finished The .Art of Joy on Sky Atlantic, Italian series about a girl who will do anything to get what she wants. Set around the time of the first world war. We enjoyed it.

Just watched part 1.  Deaf subtitles should be optional not mandatory.  They were too intrusive and are only helpful if you need them.

 

it looks like iPlayer solves this so all good.

I found the "subtitles on - sound off" option made it a whole lot more bearable but still had to call it a day after twenty minutes ...
