RIP Norman Donegan - last surviving Ad Lib

Sad to report that Norman Donegan the very last surviving member of the Ad Libs passed away yesterday.

Made some wonderful records, he, like all of the group, stayed down to Earth regular people.

RIP Norman.

Yeah came across a bunch of them in the studio earlier upon reading of his passing.

Wasn't sure who in the original photo Chris posted was Norman.  I was assuming it was he on the right? 

Great group which can be under appreciated on our scene in the quest for rarity and obscurity.  The CD with all the out takes is great listening.

WOW, never seen those pics of the Ad Libs before, where / when were they taken?

My favorite is that acetate cut 'Love Is Knocking' bell sound acetate, so it may have had a vinyl release??
