Killer garage soul from '67 garage out of Louisiana. Incredibly scarce 45, that’s seen some turntable action from the Michael Robinson, Mike Umholtz and Jack White. Infectious and absolutely perfect for now. One small skip around ten seconds from end but I’m unable to add weight so can’t check if that will help. Otherwise plays strong VG and is priced accordingly.

The Mauds - You Make Me Feel So Bad (Mercury) Vg++ £50

Like it’s stable mate by The Riddles ALL copies of this 45 have vanished. And it’s no surprise as this honestly blew me away when I first heard it, garage soul at it’s very best and still cheap (but then The Riddles is now an £100 45)! Getting plays in Europe and here in U.K. at RSF and other upfront venues.

Oh that intro! Absolute killer garage soul/lowrider 45 that is so so hard to find in anything above VG grade. Had a local release before this which seems equally tough to find a nice condition. My personal favourite of those presented here.
