Doesn’t leave you much time to respond to the unmistakable intro and make a dash for the floor. Emphatic dancer that will never go out of fashion. Lovely rich pink original copy, in top condition. Apologies for the image, had to take this under kitchen lights rather than natural light, so its dark with reflection, can retake in sunlight (I hope) tomorrow! but I assure you its all good)

(Fantastic doubles sider, slight edge lift and some black pen marks on ‘Still love’ label but discreet on the same colour label)

Otis Brown – Find somebody new – Lujuna 10655 Ex+ £150

(Chicago mid-tempo, how classy is this, guess the ‘Soulettes’ version was spawned from Otis’s own work)

Larry Williams & Johnny Watson – I am the one / You ask for one good reason – Okeh 7280 M- £250

(Outstanding double sider, both sides brutish soul dancers, and as they say themselves, “Two for the price on one!” what more could you want and on a lovely stock copy, in the best condition I’ve ever seen on several copies I’ve had)

Ray Pollard – It’s a sad thing – United Artists 50012 Ex+ £150

(Fabulous beat ballad, lovely condition, and a juicy stock copy)
