They don't advertise that in their advert but it's going to be cold FWIW. Located in an open gallery (straight corridor) with both ends open to 'air' flow it can be very cold... Go for it if you're strolling around. FWIW I don't go to records fair much at all anymore. Nor to records store either.

I was in Brussels on a day trip with the wife from London on Eurostar about 25 yrs ago ! It was brilliant for walking around in - so easy - lots of bars and found about half a dozen record shops - picked up a few issues with picture sleeves etc BUT the dealers knew their stuff even then and the rare stuff was always high on a shelf that you had to ask for and priced accordingly

And ? Did you miss it ? Or did you make a 'HIT' ! 😵

Yes , visited . Busy when we visited mid morning . Fabulous venue albeit an open covered gallery . Top notch prices tho and speaking to one of sellers , UK dealers now tend to not attend which he found disappointing as for a buyer he found their prices cheaper ! Raphi who I know from the Perpignan weekenders was selling - had some nice 7 “ reggae , rocksteady , soul & northern but tended to be the exception for those genre and format .

Nice gallery but made to pass through (access underground to the train station) and/or stop to stop by and have one or more drink in one of the bars there before taking the train.

Doing that record fair there it is because it's "cheap-er" and doing it now and then at the same time as the X-mas market (sacrilege) is purely with the commercial aim to catch that public.

Browsing through loads of such wrong records there in those conditions is purely despairing and coming home empty handed almost depressing. I stayed home and work. I meet Raphi else where.

Last time was Thursday at my place. And Lord spare me those toothless "sharks" (I love animals so might sound as a compliment but not) in those collector's (those who prefer money than music) realm.

Fortunately we accessed the gallery direct from the street  rather than the Metro /Central Station subways . Yes it does smack of a well oiled business in its organisation - same people that organise the Antwerp Record Fair ?

They are organizing 'generic' fairs amongst many things... Not into the music or record business by a mile. So yes hopefully they are "pro" at that.

Is Raphi not behind this record fair? I’m sure he was organising something similar in Brussels pre COVID.

Raphi bought it from Daniel B. (the one that started them way back) and Raphi for many reasons sold it off to them (without other fortunate taker in the record/music) recently.
